Blend the garlic and anchovies - adding oil to avoid it sticking to the walls (you may blend it two or three times according to the blender's capacity) - until forming a paste

Place in an earthenware pot with the rest of the oil and heat over low flame until it boils, saucepan with a wooden spoon to prevent it from sticking to the bottom. Add the butter and dissolve, always stirring.
